This company started out OK although I realized after a short while that I was getting a run around. I was trying to order two digital TV in preparation for the hurricane season in SW FL. Most of the portable digitals do not get good reception in our area. I was assured by "Loren" from LCD that this was not the case as Palm Beach Co, Fl Emergency Management was using them as their standard.
Long story short: On 9/15/09 I order one TV and several other expensive items for a total of $629.97. Although the other items came with no instructions, I decided to keep them but there was no way that the 8.4" TV was going to work no matter where I tried it.
A male named Loren instructed me to send the TV back (on my dime) to his attention for a full refund of $349. According to my tracking through Staples, it was sent on 9/28/09 and received by "Fador" at 10:43 on 10/05/09. I have never received a refund nor have they acknowledged my existence or that of the transaction. I just get stonewalled.
Each time I call the company I get a different runaround. They don't know a Loren, Loren is a female not a male when I explain who I am trying to reach, they put you on hold and never come back and then the system says goodbye and hangs up. The mailbox is full or they don't call back if you do leave a message. I am getting ready to file a complaint with BBB AND put in a dispute with my credit card company who said I should try to work it out first with the merchant. Apparently, they don't care to work it out as they have both the merchandise and my money. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY.
