I paid the American Residential Law Group (ARLG) over $7000 10 months ago to represent my two homes and get a modification for my mortgages. Craig Cohen was the front man and the first liar to represent the company. He assured me that the process would take 45 to 90 days to be completed because they work attorney to attorney to streamline the process. After about 2 - 3 months of getting nowhere I was presented with a mitigator named Shandra Porter - she told me that it would be another 90 days for the modification process to complete. During all this time I had to be providing monthly updated documents to them. By the end of September I was hardly getting any return phone calls and by November I after receiving another mitigator I received no further communication from them. ARLG, in my opinion, is a cheat and has totally misrepresented itself as mortgage modification experts. I have never spoken to Joel Jacobi or Oscar Estevez, but if they consider themselves respectable attornies they would immediately seek to rectify this situation. FYI: neither attorney is associated with the FL BAR Assoc.
