We paid your company, ARLG $2500 and you didn't do a thing for us. In fact we found out our home was going to be foreclosed on from a family member who read it in the paper. When we contacted your company (after numerous calls) you had no idea. Basically we paid $2500 for your company to receive our faxes (bank statements, etc). Prior to contacting ARLG, we did everything we could possibly do and knew to do, to keep our home. We researched and researched before finding your company. Because of the many scams on the Internet, we were leery about paying money to any company, but your representatives reassured us on multiple occasions that they could and would help us.
Needless to say we lost our home. We had less then a month, with two young children, to find a safe, affordable, place for our family. School started 2 days after we moved. We had to borrow money from family members to secure a deposit and first months rent.
My husband and I are a hardworking couple with respectable jobs. We work hard in our jobs and even harder to be the best parents we can be. $2500 may be a nothing to ARLG but it is our rent(now). It could pay for heating this winter that will cost us more then we were paying at our previous home, groceries, utilities, medical bills for our child that has asthma, etc.
We "gave" ARLG money that we did not have to help save our home. That did not happen. If you had done all that you could do or done anything at all for that matter, and we lost our home, that would be one thing. You did "nothing" and we lost our home. That is the difference!
The decent thing to do would be to refund all or at the very least, a good portion of our money.
