When signing up my family I had to create a separate account for my son who was over 18. We explained that he had a medical condition and was waiting on clearance to work out. I was told that if he did not clear within the first 30 days we could cancel, and to just give them a call. I called our local gym and they said it will be cancelled. I received a letter saying that I was behind on the payment. I called the corporate number and explained to them what I had done and a very rude lady on the line said that is not true and that I needed a letter written from the doctor, after I got the letter I took it to the local gym again and mailed a copy to cooperate. I was told the account would be placed on hold for 6 months because I could not just "cancel the account". 3 months later I received a phone call saying that the account had been sent to collections and it had been canceled by them. Very frustrating that corporate does not deal directly with the local areas as all.
I also would have problems with trying to access the pool. It was out of service a lot.
As soon as my membership is up I will never deal with them again.
