Lying to customers enduring hardships

What kind of company takes advantage of their customers by offering payment extensions and Comes back in a few days and refuses to honor what the previous rep approved or told a customer ? I was told i qualify for an extension then i call a few days later to follow up on the letter i was told i would get, and the rep told me i do not qualify for an extension. The previous rep who lied , just wanted to get me off the phone . Unreal while people are enduring hardships how this finance company I’ve been with over 13 years faithfully will just treat me this way . It’s awful !
