On July 4, 2007 I ordered a Helio Cell Phone & accessories for $249.10. The Customer Sales did state a 'return it within 30 days for a full refund' policy. A day after the transaction I had 2nd thoughts about a 2nd cell phone I really didn't need as badly as I had first thought. So, I called Helio hoping to stop the processing & shipment of my order but, much to my surprise, Helio's Customer Service stated, "once the order is processed it can not be cancelled so, when they try to deliver your package, just refuse delivery". I called FedEx in advance to inform them that I would not be accepting delivery of this package, & just return it to sender, FedEx Confirmed! But, then FedEx turns around & attempts to deliver this package 3X anyways. OK, phone is finally on its way back to Helio so, per a Helio e-mail from a Helio rep, I call Helio & cancel this account. Meanwhile, I get another e-mail from Helio about a week later saying "Congratulations, your Helio device has been activated & I receive the cell phone # of a Helio which I never took receipt of. Then, on 07/05/2007, I see a Helio charge to my Visa for $249.10 [cell phone & accessories]. So, I call Helio back & they tell me that my account was never cancelled... so I cancel this account a 2nd time [07/20/2007], OK. Then my Visa gets hit with another $78.54 Helio service charge [1st month's service for a phone I don't have]. Well, Helio finally credits my Visa $95.80 so, when I subtract the difference between the $95.80 credit & the $78.54 debit, I come up with an overage [credit] of $17.26. Subtracting $17.26 from the original $249.10 Helio charge, I come up with $231.84 credit to my Visa that Helio still owes me! Between Customer Sales/Rep., email bots and writing to Sky Dayton, I don't know what to do further. Due to the numerous unheeded complaints that Helio receives, I'm surprised they are still in business! GIVE ME MY CREDIT OF $231.84 TO MY VISA ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!
