Date may be slightly off.
August 9, 2007 I ordered a Helio Heat. Yes, the Customer Sales did state a 'return it within 30 days for a full refund'. A day after the transaction I had a bad feeling and went to the web's Rip-Off Report. Lo'& Behold, the numerous complaints on Helio and their unethical practices. I attempted to cancel via email the following evening (Saturday) and Sunday and called on a Monday. Customer Service stated, "once the order is processed it can not be cancelled. When it is delivered, refuse the package". I called FedEx in advance that I will not be receiving this package and to return it to sender. -Confirmed-. Yet, FedEx attempted to deliver this package 4 days later. In the due process of this, Helio activated a phone, I was not in receipt of. I did receive the $30.00 activation fee. But, the question is whatever happened to the $53.50 that was to be immediately credited back to my cc (60-90 days for a refund?)
Between Customer Sales/Rep., email bots and writing to Sky Dayton. Due to the numerous unheeded complaints Helio/Earthlink/SK Telecom should be closed and Sprint should not transact with this company!
