I absolutely agree that this is more than likely a scam. I was contacted by the company because I was searching for a personal loan online. I had a similar experience with a company representative, this one was named Chris McFadden. I even let him know that I was worried about being scammed and he gave me a lecture about how to spot a scam. I went as far as to get the information to wire my money until I found out that I too was to send my money to Canada, this time to a Sara Ellis. He then told me to tell the Western Union agent that I knew Sara Ellis and that I was sending the money for a personal matter. He said if I told them it was for a loan they would charge me 30% loan tax based on the state I live in. This set off bells. I pretty much knew that it was scam then. I searched on the Internet and found other people with similar experiences. These people are very smooth so beware!
