I bought an emachine in april 2010, i wish i knew it was made my gateway, a few months after i got it, it ran slow. Now I cant watch a video on facebook, or use the webcam, so i called emachine and was told it was a software problem, got transferred, the person says there will be a charge, so i hung up, called emachine back, cussed at the guy and i apologized for cussing, he transfered me to a supervisor who said they do charge, but they can redo my computer like when i first got it, i told him no, my son already did it 2x already and wont redo it again, i am not computer savvy and my son gets upset with me, so that was not an option. the software is under warranty for 3 months, what a crock, i just wrote to gateway to the ceo, i doubt i will get an answer or a call, as long as they get their money they could give a darn, when people ask what kind of computer i have i will tell them and also the problems in have. they ripped off a handicapped person. dont buy emachine or gateway. i think walmart stopped selling them, which is where i bought it from, my son has a HP, and has had it for 3 yrs , no problem.
