I've had my Garry vacuum for 4 months and the impeller in the motor busted. The customer service person told me it would cost me $100 in shipping fees to send it back and get another one "at no charge!". This amount is not specified in any of their ads, or on their warranty. They should specify this fact.
When I questioned the $100 fee, he told me to just buy another one. This is not an alternative! As easily as this one busted, I don't want another one. Why do we have to pay any shipping fee when it is their cheaply made product that broke so easily??? I asked them to send me another impeller, and we would fix it ourselves, he said they couldn't do that.
If you have one and it still runs, I suggest you put some kind of wire mesh screen in front of the motor in case you pick up something other than just dust, so the cheap plastic impeller doesn't break.
I wish I had read the reviews, now I'm out $200. An expensive lesson I can't afford to learn!
Don't waste your money!
