Review 5/6/2010

Gardner plastered our pool in the summer of 2006. At the time the work was "below industry standard" and we had them come out and re-do it. We got 25% off of our original price for the plastering because of inconsistencies in the plastering including two places where metal from the pool framing was showing through and rust began to spread down the plaster (visible in the pool) within a week. We have a signed agreement with them regarding this "below standard" work and the 25% compensation we received from them for it. Now, in the spring of 2010 (less than 4 years later) the plaster is peeling away from the sides of the pool.
I phoned Gardner on April 30th to notify them of the problem and they couldn't get someone out for a week. I was told that they could send someone out "sometime" on Thursday, May 7th. I gave Gardner 3 phone numbers to call so that they could give me some better guesstimate of when "sometime" might be on Thursday morning. I never received a call nor did anyone from Gardner come out on Thursday, May 7th.
I phoned the company and they told me "sorry" and that he can come tomorrow "for sure".
For OUR experience, Gardner did less than "industry standard" work and has had poor customer service. We are not the Four Seasons or JCC but our pool is just as important to us as these big entities and we are not satisfied with Gardner Pool Plastering.
