TERRIBLE!!!!
|
I'm 41 years old and have never written a bad review-UNTIL NOW. I ordered furniture on October 16. I was told it would be here by November 1st. My business was opening the next day. On October 22, the furniture was finally picked up. On October 28, the furniture had not moved from the original warehouse. I called futonland and was told it wouldn't be delivered until November 12. I explained my situation again and this is where it gets ugly. Over the next 2 weeks, I called, my partner called and our assistant called. We probably placed 20 phone calls to these people. Everyone we spoke with shifted blame, tried to tell us we were getting a good deal (even though we weren't interested in a good deal; we were interested in getting the furniture when we needed it) and they were extremely rude. They even told us they charged us 299.00 shipping for white glove service. The furniture arrived today, November 9, one week after my business has opened. Here's the interesting part about the "white glove service". The driver refused to even take the furniture off of the truck for us! We had to remove it ourselves. We are counselors. We had to leave session with our clients in order to unload furniture off of a semi truck in professional attire. The furniture is currently sitting outside my office on the sidewalk until we close so that we can bring it in ourselves. Bottom line- terrible customer service, they will lie to get you to buy from them, they will shift the blame and try to even make it YOUR fault. They don't care at all. Only good thing I have to say is about a guy named Eddie. He was the only one who took any accountability for what happened. I spoke to him one time and even that didn't help. I will be leaving reviews everywhere that I can. I will also contact the Better Business Bureau.
