Forest Trail Academy's unique online high school program has been a great fit for our daughter. It has allowed her to have a unique opportunity to balance a rigorous high school academic schedule with her travel basketball school program. As parents, we've strived to provide her with the best environment to meet all her goals, academically, socially and athletically. Being enrolled in Forest Trail's online high school program has also helped our daughter to be a more mature and disciplined student.
The program is flexible and she takes the initiative on her own to finish assignments and reach out for help when necessary. Though she previously struggled with writing courses and language arts, due to the nature of online learning, her writing and comprehension has improved tremendously and she's able to complete assignments at a more rapid pace. We know this will be a major benefit as she prepares for the writing portion of her SAT/ACT and other standardized testing. She's traditionally been a good student and this program has improved her confidence in her academic abilities. We feel this is preparing her for college and the next steps in her career and in life.
