Like everyone else here, we discovered after the fact that this is a scam. My husband told the girl who came to the door that we did not want any subscriptions. She asked for a donation instead to purchase a Ranger Rick book. She filled out the receipt as if it's a Ranger Rick subscription for a year with a balance due and told him not to worry about it. A couple of weeks later, we get a past due notice in the mail saying we owe 9.95! Thanks to a previous poster who somehow found this company's number, 561-558-1170, I was able to call and speak to Amy who said "oh no problem it was a donation only that was overlooked" yeah right. She said we didn't owe anything and she had fixed it. I asked if I received another one if I could call her back. She offered to send a postcard out even though they don't usually do that. I said yes absolutely. We'll see what happens and if we end up getting a Ranger Rick magazine in the mail or not. Again their phone number, and they do say they are the FloRD Agency:
