Review 3/29/2011
|
I purchased a remanufactured LifeFitness treadmill in January, 2011. Invoice 104930. I read the BBB rating and thought, "How bad can a B rating be?" Then after placing the order, I went back and read about 16 horrendous reviews. I became very skeptical, sleepless, and began to call stating my anxieties.
I spoke mainly with Geoffrey Stephens. He was patient, understanding of my situation and promised to stay with me every step of the way. Stated the company had sold many (can't remember exact number) pieces of fitness equipment.
I was told it would take up to 45 days to rebuild the commercial piece of equipment I wanted. I continued to call Geoff; he continued to reassure me. Unfortunately, I got rid of my land line and only used my cell. Told Fitnes Blowout this, but it got lost in the shuffle. About 21 days later, the treadmill appeared in the shipping company's warehouse and they were trying to find me. Geoff used a global search and found businesses near my address and finally reached me. Long story short, Global fitness delivered treadmill, it was brought into my home by a team and assembled. Every thing Geoff told me was the truth. The treadmill looks new. I was very nervous because of all the scams that now go on, but this company came through for me, plus. Can't say enough good things about Geoffrey Stephens. So, folks, it can work out. I realize dealing long distance can bring many problems, but this is one customer that wants to stand up for Fitness Blowout.
