Horrible experience. Don't use this company. Here is what happened to us: I called Fitness Club Warehouse/Fitnessblowout.com in August 2010 to inquire about a treadmill. I made sure the sales agent knew that it was for an apartment complex exercise room that is open 24 hours. We bought one that month.
We started having problems with it in January & I called to find out how to get it repaired. It was making loud clicking noises & it was speeding up/slowing down on its own. It was to the point that it was very dangerous since it could go up to high speeds on its own.
I was directed to call Free Motion since they are your warranty company. I first contacted them on 1/28/11. I was told a local company in Kansas City called Jayray would contact me back within 3 days. I never heard anything back, so I left a message for Jayray after those 3 days. Once again, he never called me back, so I tried calling him again a couple days later. He called me back the next day. He knew nothing about the problem with the treadmill. He was completely lost as to what I was talking about. He said he would contact Free Motion & get back to me & he never did.
I called Free Motion again on 2/8/11 & told them what was going on. They were completely surprised because they did contact Jayray on 1/28/11 & they said normally they are very good about taking care of these things. Danny w/ Free Motion said he would contact Jayray again on 2/8/11 & he would e-mail me a confirmation.
Jayray finally came out on 2/9/11 & checked out the problem. He ordered some parts, but he said there was no point to repairing the machine since the problems would keep happening. He said the machine was not built for the amount of use it was getting. He said it was a home use model, not for commercial use. He said it even said that on the bottom of the treadmill somewhere. He said the first clue it is not made for that kind of use is that it is a fold up machine.
It took about 3 weeks for Jayray to come back with the new parts & by then the treadmill was much worse. Again, he said it was not worth repairing. He said he was taking himself off this case. He said Free Motion would have to send someone else out & if they told us it was worth repairing, it was not true.
On 3/2/11, I called Free Motion again. Russell said he would check into the problems to see if the treadmill can be repaired & if not, it could be replaced with an identical treadmill or an upgrade at a cost. He said they would get a new service company to come out, someone who will communicate with Free Motion (since Jayray didn't). If it’s not repairable, it could take 6-8 weeks to get a new one. I told him we can’t wait that long since it had already been inoperable for over a month. I received an e-mail right away from Russell stating that Meyer Fitness would be contacting me by the end of the week. At 3pm on Fri. of that week, I replied to Russell’s e-mail confirmation & told him no one had contacted me.
On 3/10/11, I called Free Motion again. Russell & the service tech. supervisor sent another email to Meyer Fitness while I was on hold. They waited to hear back from them while I was still on hold. They both talked to Meyer Fitness & Russell told me that they would be contacting me by the end of the day. No one ever called me that day.
On 3/15/11, someone called & said that he would be out that day. He never showed up or called back.
On 3/18/11, someone called again & said he would be out that day. He never showed up or called.
At this point, we have no choice but to order a new treadmill from another company.

We apologize for any inconvenience. We painstaking hand pick each product on our and only select the top brands in the industry. As with all things mechanical, occasionally a unit may require service or a component may need to be replaced. In our experience, if any problems occur, they typically do within the first few months or ownership. After the defective components are replaced, rarely does the machine need service thereafter. Unfortunately when relying on third party carriers and vendors to deliver per our terms of contract, occasionally situations may arise creating unforeseeable delays in delivery. We have begun putting a comprehensive plan in place to provide better and more-timely information to you, more tools and resources for our team members and improved procedures for handling operational difficulties in the future. We are confident that, as a result of these actions, Fitness Blowout will emerge as a more reliable and even more customer responsive company than ever before. We take feedback and input from our customers seriously because we care what you have to say. We continually strive to improve and streamline our processes and we have learned a great deal from this incident. We are family owned business that has been in business for over 26 strong years. We credit our success to selling the best health club quality fitness equipment at the guaranteed lowest price in the country while providing while providing the best customer service anywhere.
