Looking for others who have been scammed by this company

I purchased a Precor 576i EFX with a 1 yr parts and 90 days labor upgrade for my wife's birthday. The equipment was in poor working condition from the time of delivery. She attempted to use the unit but the grinding noise was so bad, it seemed like the machine was wearing metal to metal, unlike the same units at our health club which are smooth and noise free. After several months, she contacted Fitness Blowout and they either tried to sell her another service package or they stated someone would get back to us to arrange a service call. This went on for several months. She became so frustrated in her dealings with this company she said she just wanted the equipment removed from the house. I finally contacted the company and they continued with the same pattern, they said a technician would be contacting us to arrange a time to see the equipment. When this did not happen, I contacted the company again and just so happened to speak to the same person, Henry and he again said someone should have contacted me. This time, I asked for the name and phone number of the technician. He gave it to me but said he would make sure the technician they work with who was supposed to contact me, would contact me immediately. After another week, no one contacted me so I reached out to the technician directly and arranged a time for him to look at the unit. The technician was knowledgeable, on time and professional. He was not an employee of the company but an independent Precor technician. He looked at the unit, took it apart and determined there was a number of major parts issues that needed replacement. His comment was this unit should never have been shipped out in its present condition without replacing the major parts needed. He said with further use, we would have damaged the unit. We showed him our contract with 1 yr parts replacement and 90 days labor and he said he would contact the company with his parts order since they had to order the parts and ship them to him. We contacted him a few days later and he told us the company told him they would not be replacing the parts and it was my responsibility to pay for them. I then contacted the company, once again, I was able to speak with the same sale rep, Henry and he also stated they would not pay for the replacement parts. I mentioned to him I had a contract with a clause signed by Steve, the VP, stating 1 yr parts replacement and it was there legal responsibility to pay for the replacement parts. He put me on hold and said he was going to speak with Steve, he came back on the phone and confirmed they would pay for the parts but he needed the serial number off the unit. I was on the road so I had my wife email him to request the location of the serial number. After another week of no response to her emails, I returned home from my trip, found the serial number and emailed it to him and Steve, and asked for confirmation that they received my email and where responding to the parts order. I have contacted the technician and they have not gotten back to him. I have contacted an attorney, reviewed with him my frustration, invoice and contract along with all documented calls and emails. He feels this is a clear breach of contract and I have advised him to move forward with action against the company. However, after looking at all the complaints against this company, many of which are issues related to the same problem, poor quality equipment that is presented as completely reconditioned in good working order that he believes there may be a case of class action for fraud and misrepresentation if enough people have been damaged.
