These guys are incredible. They were on time, they were careful, efficient and didn't try to charge anything extra .Most people don't even consider that but it is my understanding that everytime you hire someone to do something for you you can be liable for their injuries if they are not fully insured but It is not the case with First Van Lines.
Anyway, the three guys who moved us were Sandy, Ricky and Kevin . These were all hardworking men in their twenties and thirties. We had estimates from $2,000 to over $4,000 to just move a one bedroom apartment plus a second stop to pick up a room full of boxes and king sleigh bed set. These outfits were counting steps from the apartment to the elevator then to the street in coming up with their estimates. What bull crap! First Van Lines was up front and told us it would be $150/hour for three men and a truck plus 1 hour drive time since they were going from SF to Redwood City to Menlo Park. No gimmicks or confusing math. I was so pleased with the job I gave each guy lunch and $45.
You don't need to call anyone else. If you are looking Honesty, efficiency and moving with care then look no beyond First Van Lines.
