I have ALWAYS had a mommy pouch, even before I became a mommy. No amount of exercise, diet or sucking in could make it go away. When trying on pants, I always had to do the "sit test" to see whether the pants still fit with the pouch. I had my abs and love handles done by Dr. Milstein. The professionalism of the staff was impeccable and the facility very clean and comfortable. Dr. Milstein is very easy to talk to and cares about making sure his patients get the desired results.. And, if the desired results are unrealistic (e.g., washboard abs? yeah right!), he will absolutely tell you that too. I started with my abs and was not completely satisfied. I went back about 9 months or so after the procedure and talked to Dr. Milstein about it. He was extremely understanding and agreed that I needed a "touch up"; he explained that they have to be careful not to take out too much fat (could there ever be such a thing?!) because it can make the belly look uneven. So, they prefer to err on the side of caution because you can always take out more. We did the belly touch up and I added the love handles as well. The results are fabulous. Dr. Milstein told me not to complain if I had to go get all of my pants altered and I gave a courtesy smile but thought to myself "yeah right." I was just hoping to not have to do the sit test anymore. Well Dr. Milstein was right! I now have 20 pairs of pants sitting at the tailor, some of which have to be brought in by more than two inches.. As my husband says , I "now have a waist and hour glass figure." Thanks Dr. Milstein and Final Inches.
