Lack of communication with customers was unjustifiable and lacked professional ethics. Considering the service Express Relocation Van Line provides, it would be in the customers best interested to be apprised of the company's inability to deliver shipment on expected date. Because this was a cross-country relocation, it is unreasonable to expect the customer to be at the delivery site within the 24 hour notice provided by the delivery driver. The only excuse provided by Express Relocation Van Line was "we are too busy to call the customer". Perhaps that should have been taken into account before accepting a new customer.
