Unfortunately, I tried to use Eros Tours and Travel Inc to book a flight. In addition, I purchased the travel insurance for the flight. When the confirmation email was sent to me, the dates were incorrect, that in itself is not a big deal. I called and was placed on hold for over 40 minutes. At that time I have a conference call and had to hang up. To their credit, they did call back 90 minutes later but I was still on my call. Once I finished the call, I called them back and waited on hold for over 50 minutes. Again I had to hang up ( I was at work and I unfortunately can not stay on hold for that extended amount of time. Finally I called back and was able to speak to someone (after 30 more minutes on hold) and I could not understand everything that was being told to me. I gave the correct dates and was told to wait on hold while the changes were made. Again, I was on hold for over half an hour. Meanwhile, I was blocked by the company access to their website. Having unfortunately spent so much time on hold, I finally waited for an additional 35 minutes to speak to someone to cancel the transaction. After spending an entire day trying to book a flight, I asked if I could cancel the flight as I do not have this much time to dedicate to booking a flight. I was then told that there would be a $10.00 charge to cancel the flight. It is a shame that customer service is a lost art, keeping in mind that I called them no less than 2 minutes to inform them that THEY had made a mistake. I will tell everyone that it would be in your best interest to not use Eros Tours to book anything, keeping in mind that I purchased their "trip insurance".
