The only good thing about Dripping Spurs is their price. They have consistently missed appointments, not shown for weeks at a time and don't seem to be all that concerned about completing projects. We signed a contract in mid-January and we MIGHT be done by mid-September. There are not enough excuses to explain away an 8-month build out.
I have heard from several other clients of Dripping Spurs that they have experienced the same lack of service/completion. It shouldn’t take more than a couple of months (at worst) to build a pool. Jerry Vaughn (the owner) seems nice enough, always very apologetic and will constantly tell you he will get it done and it will be “beautiful” but the follow through of actually completing the job has been horrible. The only way I would ever recommend him to someone is if they wrote into the contract a completion date with a penalty clause. Hold back 25% of the contract until project completion and if it isn't done by date xx-xx-xxxx, they forfeit the 25%.
Once the pool is completed I would be happy to update these comments to reflect the quality of work, but since it isn’t completed it is hard to give an accurate assessment of their work.
