To Whom it may concern,
I feel that Dental Associates of Corona(DAC) does not follow ethical standards and procedures that relate to being financially transparent and having full disclosure with the customer.
After going though a root canal procedure, I was presented a balance with all incurred costs of a couple hundred dollars. I was informed before the procedure that I had excellent insurance and the "it should cover it." Form the beginning, they knew I had excellent insurance and decided to max it out by performing procedures that we not necessarily needed. My maximimum was 2,700 and they knowingly went over what my insurance covered.
So, to insult to injury, after they presented me with this bill I talked to Dr. Archung to at least let me pay in payments and he refused. I was upset because they never informed that the procedure was going to go over my max. They basically said it was my fault because I should have kept track. I do believe this is true, but they should have done their part and presented to my the cost of the repairs and that it was potentially going to go over my max.
