Creditors do NOT provide updated balances to Delray Credit Counseling. You should still be receiving monthly statements from the creditors you enrolled in the debt management program. The statements from your creditors will show your account activity for the current billing cycle including the "new balance", which is your current balance for that particular account. Your online account with Delray Credit Counseling will show payments we disbursed to your creditors as you mentioned in your posting.
In regards to the setup process or proposal acceptance, it is typically 30 - 45 days from the date of your first payment. Delays to this time frame can be non-receipt of account information requested from the debtor, non-payment or delayed payment, and creditor response. Proposal acceptance has many moving parts, of which many are outside the control of DCC; however we make every attempt to obtain proposal accectpance as quickly as possible.
