I took my truck to be worked on at this shop because the City of Riverside has a contract with the owner to work on City vehicles. I took my truck in for service because the check engine light came on. After taking my information, the manager made a statement that I should have someone pick me up because the work that was needed to be done on my truck was going to take a ong time even though a mechanic had not even looked at my truck. After telling the manager that I was going to wait, he seemed annoyed that I was not going to leave. Sbout 30 minutes later, the manager came to the waiting room to explain to me the problem. He stated that the air flow sensor needed to bereplaced, and he suggested that I have the fuel injectors cleaned as well. The manager told me that the work would take 2 hours at most. I had a friend pick me up so we could got to lunch. 2 hours later I called to check if my vehicle was done, and the manager stated that they were still working on it. 2 more hours went by before the mnager called me to onform me that the work was done.
One day later the check engine light came back on. The light came on late Sunday night, and the business was closed or the night. Monday morning, I called and told the manager about the problem He stated tha there was nothing that he could do that day because they were closing early, and didn't have the time to work on my truck. I went back the next time the shop was open to have them fix the problem. All that was needed to be fix was that the check engine light needed to be reset. The mechanic's took all day to reset the check engine light.
The work that was needed to be done on my truck took 5 days to be finished because this shop didn't do the job right the first time.
