Daniels Jewelers is the most horrible store I have ever done business with. I took my wedding rings in Dec 2010 in Arcadia,CA to have my prongs re-tipped, BIG MISTAKE!!! I got back my rings in a condition I couldn't believe. The prongs are ugly some are thick some are thin, with lots of pits in them, the weight of my rings are very light in weight. When letting the store manager Diana (angry woman) and their jeweler Sam see my rings they made me feel like I was making a big thing out of nothing. My engraving is now gone and scratches inside and outside of my ring keep in mind people my rings aren't even 5yrs old yet not till the end of this year 2011. The corporate office had a poor girl call me with what they thought would make me feel better and that was they redo the work. Are they CRAZY??? I would never let them or any of there stores ever touch my rings again. All I wanted is for me to be able to pick a jeweler of my choice have him or her repair my rings and Daniele's pay for it. How dare them try to dictate what they want to offer me to make me go away. Well to late we go to court April 2011 let the Judge decide, the damage done how this will be taken care of don't forget the sentimental attachment I have for my rings. I haven't worn my rings since Dec 2010 and my 5yr wedding anniversary was 2/28/10 with no rings. Thank You who posted here because my next phone call will also be to the BBB people need to be aware of the shady operation they run. 4/3/11 Well court is 4/25/11, I read your comment Daniel's your lie's are so bad my rings will be 5 yrs old this Sept 2011 I don't ware my rings daily cause of work.. You corporate people have a poor little Secretary call me and do your dirty work well like I said let the judge decide your fate I know I will win!! the person who responded to my post I bet doesn't even know the conversations that took place by phone in Feb 2011 again corporate put some poor little secretary to answer to my complainant here. Well let justice be served and I did learn a big lesson here never to shop at Daniel's Jewelers ever again...

Business's response - by Customer ServiceMon 3/3/2011

Every reasonable effort has been made to address the customer's concerns. The work was completed by an experienced jeweler and we believe all work was done in highly satisfactory manner. We disagree with the customer's evaluation of the work that was done, but remain willing to work with the customer. The engraving showed signs of natural wear and we do not believe that the engraving was damaged while we had the ring.
