I have never been spoken so badly too as I was from this company!! I purchased a camcorder from a major retailer that was DXG when I went to use the camcorder three months later on my trip to Italy (a once in a lifetime dream of mine)all my footage was not there. I took it back to the place that I brought it from but of course they informed me that I would have to return it to DXG since it had been past 30 days. I then called DXG and spoke to who I was told was the tech in charge the first time he was very nice told me to send it in and they would replace it for an upgrade due to the fact that the model I brought was discontinued over 5 years ago. I was told that company's sell what is called mass product to the public, I just find it hard to belief that I was able to buy this in 2010 if it was discontinued in 2005!!!, anyway I did what I was told by sending it back to DXG and next thing I get a call back from DXG saying that they told me to send in $49.99 which never happened. I was yelled at,spoken to like I was a child and told that they are sending the camera back and they are not going to fix it this all from the Director of the company. This is to worst case of bad Customer service I have every experience in my long life. I ave read all my documents and DXG web page and know where does it say that there is a $49.99 charge for tech work or anything else.
