I'm a woman and when auto mechanics see me coming they seem to lose all their integrity. I recently had new tires put on my car and heard an unfamiliar noise. The mechanic told me I'd need to replace all my wheel barings (sp?). I took it to Crossroads Auto, Inc in Lake Forest instead. The owner and one of the mechanics took about 15 minutes and determined that the tire size didn't fit my wheel covers causing the sound at higher speeds. I went on EBay and bought new wheel covers for $10 and no more sound. I have since taken my car back for maintanence and find the staff courteous, professional and friendly. They are priced in the middle of the market but often throw in services because they strive to be helpful to their customers. I have heard similar stories from their other customers and even in this struggling economy they are doing well. I recommend them.
