I had three properties, which I was on the mortgage with my son and daughter in law and we were looking for solutions as my medical practice had seen a decline due to current medical policy shifts in the hospital in which I work with. My interest only loan on my home was set to reset and our shared family beach home, which was more of an investment of heart than an intelligent real estate purchase had not gained in value as we had hoped due the current real estate collapse, even after the additions we had made. There were many intricacies that were involved, as each loan was different and each others percentage of ownership differed from each individual property that we held. Our commitments as borrowers were not aligned my daughter wanted to exit two of the loans and both my son and myself thought we should retain all three properties. This was a lot to take in, especially with the complexities of our situation it was emotionally draining. I as a homeowner who was afraid of potentially considering exiting two properties with unfathomable losses on both. Desperate for a solution I had left messages with several firms including Commercial Loan Consultants.
I received a call from Commercial Loan Consultants on the other line a young intern still in college told me he was working with Commercial Loan Consultants this summer and that from our brief call he believed they could possibly assist me with my real estate dilemma. I said yes to his question of whether I would like to speak with his senior whom oversaw his internship at the firm. Scottie Hunter called me back and set an appointment with all three of us. In the appointment, which took less than an hour by conference call, he was able to bring clarity to a chaotic situation and clearly described all of our choices giving us his professional opinion as a courtesy and then allowing us to make own our decision.
We were receiving several other offers and his approach was refreshing and after hearing the benefits of working with an independent broker rather than a bank we chose to move forward with Commercial Loan Consultants. Scottie was able to find solutions for all three properties which meet the differing goals of all three parties it was a satisfying and financially rewarding experience working with both Scottie and the firm. Commercial Loan Consultants gave us full transparency through the entire process, which helped my daughter in law greatly with her comfort level with keeping all three properties with out spending our savings or dipping into our investments. Most of all we are now cash flowing on our rental property and our beach home is in a much better position. I am saving Seventeen Hundred dollars a month on my home.
I would strongly advise going through any loan process with Commercial Loan Consultants. I felt they were working for us to best find a solution that fit our needs not sale us a loan or financial product we did not desire nor could afford. The process was streamlined for the most part although we were presented with a few hurdles. This is where they fully won my trust and business I really appreciated it when the principal Mrs. Rollow took time out to speak with me. Scottie clearly explained to us in detail the problem and his solution to overcome it and execute. Despite my expressed frustration everything was still explained to me even as I felt I should withdraw from the whole thing. I just really appreciated the fact that Commercial Loan Consultants shared with us the difficulties they were having with one of our loans rather than just trying to overcome the difficulties with out our knowledge. This was a positive experience and it was not with out difficulties or some differing opinions but in the end Scottie out performed on what he and the firm had set out to do. It did take longer than we were told with one of the properties. We worked with Scottie Hunter and Charles I am not sure of his last name but he was the perfect contrast to Scottie very patient, knowledgeable, and experienced in contrast to Scottie who was intense and eager yet very intelligent and diligent. I will be returning my business to them should I have further needs with either my real estate holdings or in accessing a loan for my business. I would recommend contacting them or coming in to discuss any commercial or residential loan needs or issues. I made an appointment with a Los Angles office as it was near my office and experienced a high level of service, yet not perfect. I did experience problems contacting the Garden Grove office.
