I ordered Smoke Assist for my husband on Dec. 7th, 2009. The package was received at my home on Dec. 11th 2009. When I ordered, I was very specific about ordering this for my husband and was assured that i could return the order for a FULL refund, no questions asked. Well, guess what? I was billed for more filters on Jan. 8th, 2010, which was a Friday. I didn't notice the charge until Saturday and immediately tried calling Smoke Assist's customer service, which is not open on Saturday. I called the number I ordered the product from and was told that I need to speak to them and they will give me instructions on how to return for a refund. On Monday, Jan. 11th (today) I called customer service and was treated completely unprofessionally. I told the rep we didn't even open any packages, it's within the 30 days and I wanted to return the product as I was promised I could do. She said NO...Her name was Courtney and when I asked for her last name, wouldn't give it. She advised they are a third party distributor, I asked for the company name and she said it is "irrelevant" to our conversation and refused to give it to me. I did not yet receive the new filters i was charged for and advised I would be "refusing" delivery. She advised they are not taking them back and I would continue to receive them. I asked her to listen to the tape of my order, she advised she would not be pulling any tapes for me, I'm at the end of the road with her and will not be receiving a refund. For anyone considering this product, I would urge you not to deal with this company. They do NOT stand behind their product and customer service is non-existant. I am filing several complaints, with the BBB, Attorney General and our local news to warn others against using this product.
