We were upside down on our mortgage and the interest we had was astronomical. We had previously got a modification in 2010, all they did then was extend the length of our loan to lower payments a small amount. We were skeptical going into this since we had been told by Ocwen that we had to be in default on our loan (behind by 90 days) before we would be eligible for another modification. Shannon was great to work with, explained everything and kept us updated along every step of the process. I cannot give her enough praise! We were approved for a modification in less than 60 days. Our payments dropped almost in half! We went from 6.75% interest to 3.25% interest. Our loan term stayed the same and we even got a $66,600.00 reduction, taking our loan amount near the current retail value! We had to pay Coast2coast about the equivalent of one months mortgage payment, it was so worth it. We are saving over $800.00 per month, $9,600.00 per year and $173,000.00 over the remaining term of our loan. We couldn't be happier! If you have Ocwen you have to do a modification with Coast2caost and ask to work with Shannon!
