We moved in July and have still been unable to get someone to come out and make an appraisal. It's now January! We filed our claim -- but they just send an email that someone will talk to us within 20 business days. We give them 40 days, and when we contact them again, they tell us they need more information. Why didn't they ask for it before? So we send it again, we get the 20 day thing again, and the time passes with nothing again.
They give us an extension and a name and no phone number. It's just a ridiculous way of doing business. We call the JAG office and they say to go to the carrier, and then the carrier sends us to the Claims Adjustment Technology.
I have grease and tears in my sofa, but they still haven't even sent an adjuster out, so I can't have it cleaned or repaired. Can you imagine me trying to have people in my home?
I wish I could give negative stars. I hate to boost their scores this much.
