Review 3/23/2010
|
Chase Relocation Services was to perform our move from Ohio to GA. After reading several reviews online, there were a few things I was apprehensive about and called their moving representative, Joseph, to ease any last minute concerns. I did my own research on safesys.org and found out that they were "not a broker" but only had one truck and one employee. My concerns were that they would send out another company to move my things (as I had read in the reviews) and that they only had one truck and one employee. Joseph assured me not only that they were not brokers, but that they did indeed have more than one truck and more than one employee and only registered one truck a year to keep their qualifications up to date. He said they owned one truck, but leased several from Ryder and had their logo painted on the trucks. When I told him I read a review saying someone wrote that they had hired Chase but that a truck with Chicago Moving Systems arrived to pick up their move, he assured me this would not happen to me. Joseph said that a truck with the Chase Relocation logo would arrive. This morning, the movers arrived in a white truck with a very tiny sign on the side reading: Chicago Moving Services. I commented to the mover that Joseph had assured me a truck with the Chase logo would arrive and the mover replied, "They are just the broker." Chase Relocation Services misrepresented themselves
