We contracted through Home Depot with this company to build and put in a shower door. We had a horrible experience and will never do business with them again. First, they tried to change the price they quoted and we had already paid. Then they forgot a part when they came out the first time. Then they failed to show up as scheduled the second time. Then the third time they showed up. We took three days off of work. Awful! Awful! Awful!
To add insult to injury ... I was contacted by the company after this review so they could investigate which apparently they did and then point by point, we were told why the company was right each time. They said we cancelled the 2nd delivery (through Home Depot) and that is why they did not show up. We did no such thing. In fact, my husband spoke to Home Depot that day and later so did I which leaves no room for miscommunication. We were clear that we wanted the installation earlier than scheduled, not later. No apology - no accountability -- just "I am sorry that you think ..." (directly quoted from response.) Think about that. Would you rather get an "I'm sorry. We made some mistakes..." (acknowledging accountability) or "I'm sorry that you think ..." (putting it on the customer).
This review would no longer be posted if the company had simply taken responsibility and apologized for their mistakes/ miscommunications/whatever they want to call it. Rather, they would rather tell me point by point why they feel they did everything correctly. I suppose then that I'm wrong and I should accept taking three days off of work to meet the installers as a given when ordering a shower door.
