Review 3/13/2011

I read a few negative reviews about this company but still gave them the benefit of the doubt. I paid them a visit. After all what other dealer would buy my old car. Read carefully and you'll find out. There I met a young man that was nice in the beginning but quite condescending at the end. He thought because I am a female, and secondly my age, that he can convince me that my car was not safe enough to drive it off their lot. Therefore he recommended that they are giving me a great offer and that I should settle for it. I teach quite a few students a day at college that are his age group. He did a poor job at convincing. Well, prior to arriving here as I mentioned earlier, I read few reviews of which one was very interesting on google. He or she (lets refer to that individual as he) had mentioned about his experience with a Carmax's representative which misinformed him about the car's condition. He also mentioned that he did not sell it there but took the car to a dealer called Trade In Solutions, where he was told the condition assessed by carmax was incorrect and offered him more money. I kept that information as back-up and called Trade in solutions after I left carmax. They were busy but accommodated me by giving me a same day appointment. They were very professional from the start to finish. No pressure selling. Eventhough I shared my experience with my appraiser including the ridiculous offer from carmax, he still did his own assessment and gave me a quite higher offer. I sold them the car and they even offered to take me back home. They valued my time and I am grateful. I am also grateful to the individual that mentioned Trade in solutions name on his review. I didn't hear about them before but I am glad I discovered them. I just felt like sharing my experience so others think twice before doing business with a company just because of their brand name. Good Luck.
