Bought junk silver 5000 dimes from CNI. When I sold locally and WATCHED the coins being counted, count was 4990, representing face value of $20.00. The coindealer who bought from me told me same machine was used to buy and sell and therefore could not afford any losses by a mis-count. When I simpled asked CNI about the shortage and method of monitoring their handlers I was rudely, very rudely talked to and told "best I choose another coin dealer and not to do business with them anymore." All of this rudeness from a "question". Inside (my speculation), of course, it is easier for anyone to take 10 "thin" dimes often rather than a "bullion". I was very hurt to be spoken to this way from a principal of the company. I did not ask for anything back, they are on the west coast and I on the east. I absorbed the loss (no other choice), but simply wanted to report my experience. Upon receiving a bag of 5000 dimes, of course, I, personally did not re-count. I trusted the vendor. I want others to know that my experience was like talking to street dealer. Not once did company represent, civilly, ask, "what is the invoice, I will reference", etc, to even act like they were concerned. I of course on my word could not gain anything, but neither did I have time to pursue $20 loss with no evidence. Yes, the counter that dealer bought with could have malfunctioned, even though I watched every dime go through. CNI has no business tactfullness and respect for customers spending tens of thousand dollar. My invoice dated October 7, 2010 and re-sale was January 2011
