I have to tell the customers something that might be of importance. I mailed my payment in on Oct.24 2014, now I have been a customer since 2011, and NEVER late. Soon it was Oct. 30th and my payment still had not posted. I got a little worried and called, I spoke with "Jahaira", she said just wait and see what happens. So by the 6th of Nov. it still had not post. I didn't want to be late so I put a stop payment on the check and paid the SAME day by my bank card. Stop payment cost $25.00 which I know, but on Sat. Nov. 22 I received my invoice and CIG had charged another $25.00 because I had stop the check. I spoke with Emily at CIG, and ask wasn't I told that would happen? I ask didn't CIG know that the check was not good now? She said NO that it's all done by automation. So if this happens to you, know that CIG is really not very intelligent, and that they will charge you another $25.00.
