Horrible Service with Suppressors
|
I ordered a suppressor a little over two weeks ago. I made the order over the phone, and I made my final choice on which suppressor to go with because one was out of stock and they guaranteed other was in stock. I gave them my card info and asked that they send me the serial number of my item so I can start the NFA paperwork. Over 2 weeks went by with nothing back from them (not even an order confirmation), although I did see they charged my card for the full amount.
I called them on Monday and spoke to "Daniel". Daniel told me he didn't have access to the serial number, but would call or email me back later that day or the next at the latest to give me the serial number. By Thursday I still hadn't heard anything. I called them back and actually got Daniel again. Daniel made excuses why he didn’t get back to me, stating they were too busy that week. Daniel then gave me the run around, stating they were waiting for Fed approval before they ship the item to my FFL and that it normally takes 2-3 weeks. I called BS because the Fed turn around is less than 24 hours for an electronic request. I asked Daniel if they really had my suppressor or if they sold it to someone else and now I'm waiting for a new shipment. Daniel assured me that my suppressor was in stock and held separate for my delivery. When I asked Daniel why he couldn't get me the serial number and that is when he hung up on me.
My FFL called Botach and got the same runaround, even when he confronted them about the BS claim that it took 2-3 weeks for the Fed authorization to ship the item.
I called Botach back and Daniel accidentally answered my call again. Daniel made up some BS about why he had to disconnect and I told him I wanted his supervisor. Daniel tried several tactics to divert me from talking to a supervisor and I had to repeat my request for a supervisor numerous times. Daniel then placed me on hold for a little over 5 minutes while he "got the supervisor". After my long hold, Daniel got back on the phone and told me he didn't know where a supervisor was, there was no way to contact one, and the warehouse was too big for him to find a supervisor. I told Daniel numerous more times that I wanted a supervisor, so he put me on hold again. After several more minutes, Daniel came back on the phone and said the supervisor wasn't available but that if I left my number she would call back that night. I asked Daniel who the supervisor was that he spoke to and he told me it was "Anna".
Low and behold, I never got a call from a supervisor. I did however get my first response from the company acknowledging that I ordered from them. I read the email, which included notes to email me the serial number WHEN THE ITEM COMES BACK IN STOCK.
Botach has the worst customer service I have ever experienced in a company that is supposed to cater to military and law enforcement clients.
