Often it's nice to keep those sentimental items for the good memories. Yes, sometimes we can pay more than was originally estimated and anticipated so please keep in mind...
Our offer’s of free “blind” estimates are based solely on the seller’s description and subject to change upon an actual “on site” evaluation. The estimate can go up, remain the same or go down to as we ultimately pay based on our “in person” evaluation of the item. I recall a seller with a 1950’s watch who described to us via our website, what seemed to be a $2,000 Rolex, however a visit to our office revealed a rare $ 8,000 item and we adjusted our payment up accordingly. Of course had the watch been a fake replica we would not have been able to buy it at all. We do receive packages by insured mail from all over the world, which in many instances is more time efficient than a long distance drive to get our free evaluation.
