Apples of Gold has a well-built website and great customer service. I called to ask if one of their rings could be made custom (by altering the metals) and they cheerfully agreed, for a small extra charge. Since their prices were extremely reasonable anyway, this was no problem, and it added no time to the delivery window. The ring itself is gorgeous and fits perfectly, though it felt a little tight at first--even that was no problem, as my attentive customer service rep agreed to a resizing, again for a fee, but the resizing plus the custom metal plus the base ring price was still less than other comparable sites charged, and the turnaround time is amazing. Highly recommended.
