If there was the option of NEGATIVE star rating, I would select it. I wish I had read the reviews before ever buying an Apex TV...the remote quit working, so I contacted the 866# on their VERY limited website and placed an order. Was told it would be 3 wks, was told I would receive an email with order confirmation, as well as one when the remote shipped. Didn't happen. I had to call this company people numerous times to check on the status of this order; only after threatening to cancel did they send it. Received the remote last Friday; it's a piece of plastic junk. Doesn't work! Called them to return it, they will NOT permit me to return the product, they ran me through a bunch of troubleshooting steps that resulted in a waste of my time and still a remote that is a piece of junk. Get this..they suggested I call THEM on Tuesday when they hoped to have an answer to repair the issue. What kind of customer service is that! How can the BBB give them a good rating -- they obviously have never dealt with this incompetent business.
If you've ever seen the commercials for Capital One with the guy named "Peggy" -- that is what I envision when calling Apex' so-called customer service.
I have disputed the credit card charge and if they want their piece of junk remote, they can call ME for a change.
