Poor Contractor

I hired Andrew to remodel my home. The project took much longer and was far more expensive expected. Andrew never provided me with a budget. He promised on multiple occasions that the budget was done but when we met he never was able to produce the budget.
He always had some excuse. He went out of his way to make things more complicated and more expensive. For example, we had 3 doors installed. I arranged to have one installed myself. Andrew did the other two. The one I did works great and was far cheaper than
the ones Andrew installed. I had a single subcontractor do the installation. Andrew had multiple subcontractors do his installation. One cut the door, another hung it, someone else did the insulation and another painted it. Not only did his doors cost more
but they also do not close properly. It's frustrating to pay more for a service without any benefit.
