It's about time!

My wife and I have been working with bank of America for 7 months on trying to get our payment lowered to fit in our budget. All I see on the news and on T.V is "if your experiencing financial loss or having trouble paying your mortgage with these new programs you can negotiate with your lender in getting a modification and take advantage of these low interest rates" Now my wife and I are self employed in the real estate business so we know a thing or two and after dealing with the same woman at bank of America doing everything she had asked still nothing had been done and the longer it took the further we were getting behind. After receiving my 3rd foreclosure threat I decided to do something about it and go with a company my friend refereed to me which was American Mitigation Alliance. I hired the firm on July 16th 2012 and after they gave me the same modification package I started to worry, it was all to familiar to me after attempting the same thing multiple times myself. They said it would roughly take 90 days to complete and getting close to the 90 day mark I was now scared, I then got a call from one of the paralegals working on the case with excellent news, I had an offer 2 more weeks went by and now its been just over 4 months. Friday the 23rd family still here from Thanksgiving my wife runs into the living room and hands me a letter from bank of America saying that my modification was approved with an interest rate of 2.75 not only that but we didn't have to come up with our missed payments. I hope this company gets the recognition they deserve not only will I give them 5 stars but I will refer them to anybody I know having a problem with their mortgage. -Joseph Gatewood
