Into the Holy Land Tour 2/14/12-2/26/12 - Egypt, Jordan, and Israel

This was truly a trip of a lifetime. We enjoyed every minute of this educational and spiritual adventure. There was never a time when we needed to worry about a detail...every aspect of the tour was executed perfectly. The hotels, service, food, bus and itinerary were perfect. The tour guides in all three countries (Emad, Abdullah, and Dany) were extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and of the highest professional caliber. They provided terrific information at each sight, answered all questions, and handled all details smoothly. We got to experience some extra (non-itinerary) items like watching several authentic Egyptian wedding celebrations in the lobby of our hotel in Cairo. Breakfast and dinners were always included, so for lunch and coffee breaks we got to experience local culture. One caution: bring warm clothes (dress in layers) and good walking shoes for your tour of Petra in Jordan because it can get quite chilly down in the canyons this time of year and it is a very long hike (camels and horses are available as an alternative). We didn't climb Mt. Sinai but were told that that was also quite cold, too, so pack appropriately.
We were a small group of twelve for Egypt and Jordan, and then joined by eight others for the Israel part. It was a great group of fun people which added yet another amazing dimension to the time spent together. We have used other travel companies for escorted tours but they do not measure up to the quality and professionalism we experienced with America Israel Travel.
