If I could give Allheart a negative number of stars, I would. I placed an order for a stethoscope and a penlight on 01/20/09. At that time, I paid for 2-day shipping, to get the items faster as I need them for clinicals (I am a nursing student). A couple of days later, I received an email from the company saying that the stethoscope was on back-order, but the penlight had shipped. I responded, asking if I could make a substitution with another item that was in stock. I didn't hear back from them for a week, and by that time I had received the penlight, however, when I opened the package, I found that the battery had leaked. Luckily, it did not damage the penlight itself, I just had to replace the battery. When the company did finally respond to my inquiry (they said that all of the items I was interested in were out of stock), I replied informing them of the damaged item I had received. They did not respond (in fact, they never responded about the damaged item). Two weeks went by, and I emailed the company again, asking them if they could give me an update on the status of my order, since I hadn't heard from them. Several days later, I received an email saying that my stethoscope was still on back order and would be for up to another 2 weeks. Three weeks in total after my original order date, I received an email that my stethoscope had finally been shipped to me. However, when I checked to verify the arrival date, the company had NOT sent the item via 2-day as I had paid for, but instead 7-day, so I will receive my stethoscope one month after ordering it. This company's customer service is terrible, their website is misleading (nothing on the site indicated that any item was not available for purchase or was out of stock), and the item I did receive so far was damaged. I only hope my stethoscope arrives in decent condition, when I finally do get it. I will never do business with this company again, and I have filed a complaint with the BBB. I've never received such terrible customer service EVER.
