AllState Relocation Services DO NOT RECOMMEND

I contracted with All State Relocation Services to move my property from MS to NE. They sent F-M Express Moving Services of Phoenix AZ to my home to load and transport my property. A few hours after the mover left my location I received a call that forced me to cancel the move. I immediately contacted All State and asked them to see if the driver could return to my house since they weren't that far away. They said it was not possible. The driver said he was in Birmingham AL. I was told I had the option of having the property placed in storage in Birmingham and arranging to have it picked up and delivered to my home. I agreed to this option. The next morning I received a call from All State asking again about what I wanted to do with the property and I restated the plan agreed to the previous evening. The driver called me 30 minutes later and discussed moving the property to Tupelo MS and storing it there even though he was on his way to MO and Tupelo was 150 miles from his location in AL. I told him to store the property in AL. He disregarded my statement and the items were transported to MS and stored in Tupelo. At the end of the day I was told by All State that since the property was now in MS they could not arrange to have it delivered to me because neither they nor F-M Express did in-state moves in MS. They also informed me that F-M Express was refusing to give me any refund of the money paid for the move to NE despite the fact that the property was only transported about 300 miles. All State offered me $200.00 of the $2200.00 I had already paid. They insisted they did not owe a refund and would have charged me $2200.00 to move the property to Birmingham. Both F-M Express and All State Relocation Services are now avoiding my phone calls and not returning voicemail left at both offices. It is clear that they transported my items into the state of MS in order to void the agreement to return the property to me. Both companies have acted in very dishonest ways and refuse to try and help with the situation. I have filed a BBB complaint against them and am planning to file DOT complaint as well. I would never use either of these companies again due to their actions and attitudes.
