I received a flier in the mail regarding AUCC's services. I contacted Mr. Spencer Cohen. I was attempting to win a second appeal. Admittedly, my case was a bit difficult but I also made a few errors (untimely claims, etc) that surely hindered my outcome.
Spencer will speak with great confidence and extreme knowledge of Unemployment laws. He’ll definitely convince you that 200 dollars is chump change compared to the thousands that you could lose from not receiving back and future unemployment compensation.
So..I gave him the 200 dollars. I did not receive any communication from Mr. Cohen after this point. I initiated the phone call each time we spoke. I did not win my case. I received a copy of the decision from the Unemployment office however, to this day;
I have received no communication from Mr. Cohen regarding my case. How can he be sure I received notification of the denied appeal? Don’t waste your money on AUCC. You can just as easily represent yourself. I’d be a bit leery of the Fantastic reviews posted….He
probably writes them himself.
