Review 8/4/2011

August, 2011: My son purchased 2 Goodyear tires from this company 2 weeks ago. In less than 1000 miles, they both blew out
on the highway. These were purchased at $80/tire. The dealer in Texas where they were replaced stated that these tires were at least 10 years old (had not been manufactured in 10 years) and were defective. AFJ refused to take responsibility for selling a dangerous product. Their requirement for further action was the return of the tires to Pasadena. Since my son is on a oneway trip to Miami this cannot be done. I was
prepared to supply the name and number of tire dealer in Texas where they were replaced but AFJ was not interested. My complaint is that put old defective tires on my son's car, thus jeopardizing his safety, and the would not take responsibility once they were informed of the situation.
