Hi Donna, I posted a review of this company a few days ago after spending a lot of time on the phone with them over several days. I'm not convinced they will do anything any better than the others who have outright scammed me, and even though there were several positive differences in their approach with me, I'm suspicious enough not to sign anything. If you go to Find a Company, and type in First Star Properties, you'll find 2 listings. I posted my review to both of them.
I got an email today from another Trustlink user regarding this same company and she said they gave her a referral with a phone number she could contact. She was concerned this 'person' might be part of the scam. If you end up doing something with them, please post your results either way. It will certainly help the rest of us figure out if First Star Properties can be trusted to actually complete a REAL sale.

All Timeshare Resale companies are a scam!!!!! If you read into these companies, they are merely marketing companies that just put your timeshare on a website that nobody would ever find on a search engine, and they charge you hundreds if not thousands of dollars to do this....... There is no way to sell your timeshare unless you are just doing a personal deal with your uncle or something..... Please do not fall for these timeshare resale scams...they buy your information from the last timeshare resale company that scammed you and try to burn you again. They call you claiming that they have a buyer interested in your property and then once you pay them their NON REFUNDABLE FEES, they just throw you on a website that no one will ever see! And nothing can be done to shut these companies down because it says allllll in the contracts that its just a marketing company! Where do my sources come from? I worked for a timeshare resale company for 2wks...once I figured out how shady these types of companies were, I walked out. It kills me to know that so many people get taken advantage of (especially the elderly) and they fall for it OVER and OVER again.
