Hi: I have been talking to this company as well and find they do not offer much information to help with the decision. They sent me to one "distributor" that was very abrupt and really not helpful. I have been trying to pull info from them but it is difficult. Their website is very weak with no text about their company and no website at all for their "parent company" that has this contract with the federal govt who won't devulge any information on the contract. Their "business agreement" is porrly written and way to non-descript. I thought at first this would be an opportunity but suspect otherwise. Unless they can supply honest information that can be researched such as actual schools to talk with who already use their products, they are hiding something. I will not do this until I speak with schools in cities they "serve", and they will not assist you in doing that saying it bothers the schools to receive calls from potential "distributors. Also, I have discovered that they run their business out of a "virtual office", meaning a business that answers phones for you and sounds professional, while have a facility to use to look professional if they have visitors. I have been looking into them as well for about a week. Everything they say seems to match-up with what they say. What I didn't like is that they would not allow me to visit the office in Florida. The excuse was they have copyrights of somekind and will not allow anyone to see their operations that is not part of their company. They did give me a phone # to a distributor that works in NY that I have not called yet but will soon. All I want to see is that there are people out there with van/trucks working. I hope this distributor will allow me to at least see that. I looked at the Florida corporations and Snack America is a Legal company registered in the state of Florida with all addresses and phone #'s matching up to the website. Sounds too good to be true but I will keep trying to see if I can get a "caught ya" moment before forkin out $3900. Anyone live in the states where distributors are working? I think the guy I have been talking to "Geoffrey" said they there are 44 distributors now in NY, PA, GA and FL.

,I was looking into this also and no luck on info til I came accross this. The lack of anything is bothering me, I asked how do we pay for this and there is 2 ways 1. is to go to BofA(bank) and deposit to there account, 2. is from your bank account to theres so???idk? I called the guy from NY and he made a comment where I was from and I didnt tell him? Iam thinking this may be to good to be true? The thing for me is there is no complaints from BB, I am calling Attorney Generals office for all 5 states to see if there LLC officers are listed in any complaints they may have changed there names?? The above mentioned problems encountered are the same problems I have been having as well. All of the people above were contacted in the last few days. If they have been doing this for sometime there would be old inquiries right? My big question is why do I have to "Front" the deposit? If I can show that I am financially able to do the transaction why can't I hand over the deposit when I have a distributorship (van, product, route, etc.)in front of me. I have to give them $3900.00 to wait for 5 weeks? All of this raises red flags. Al and Jeff even say this sounds to good to be true. Well without anyway to check what they are saying it probably is.

Thank you to everyone that responded me and Gary have been talking this trough for several days and we have come up with nothing but dead ends as far as gaining more insight or info on this co as to weather or not it is legit or not and this included calling the co in FL and talking to the so called owner who was short and no help just wanted you to call the 888 number they gave us on cl and it seems to me that there is only 1 distributor you can talk to in NY doing this and only 1 salesman selling the idea Geoffrey all this leads us to believe that this so called opportunity is a scam unless someone out there can give us any details or is working for the co and can prove this to be wrong please write back I have over 25 yrs experience in sales most of which in route sales and I find all of this to be far fetched at best and no one has been able to give me any answers that would change my mind.

Hi everyone...I am from Phoenix, Arizona and have contacted this company about the same business opportunity that has been described in the forementioned comments. I have sent them a list of questions regarding the business and was expecting a reply tomorrow. The questions I have asked are very similar to the ones that you have requested answers for and have received no response. The individual I talked to was John S. and is the owner of the van that has the telephone number on the website. I will let you all know if I get any answers as well. They are now running this ad on craigslist in Las Vegas.

I looked into this co.(Snack America) about 7 months ago , I was cautious as well
but i took the leap ! It was everything they said it was and more, The people at
Snack America are great to work with i get paid every Friday like clock work and
consider it to be the best thing i ever did,

In responce to steve m I would like to know more as well seeing how you say that you started 7 mo ago yet the business has been inc only 2 mo ago and if you are working for them and doing well how come they refer everyone to some one in NY that doesn't really want to talk to you and if you are doing what they say you can do I and probably others would love to come to your area and see it in person so we can see at least something before throwing 3900 of money I would have to borrow and I am sure I am not alone in order to get this done all I have right now is somebody telling me it can and is being done however no one is willing to show you for real so please get back to me and if you want I will give you my number to call me or email me with maybe pictures of your van and maybe even pic of the snacks you deliver since the co is unwilling to disclose this to anyone other than that weak at best web site please get back to me.

I too have been looking into Snack America and if anyone has had better success than I have I would appreciate an email back. I agree it sounds too good to be true and it makes me nervous to fork out $3900 to an unknown. Has anyone actually seen a van or talked to someone that has a van and is currently working the business? Thanks for any help you can provide. I am in Arizona.

I have spoken with Steve M. twice and he was helpful, but I'm still bothered by the fact that between all of us we've only been able to connect with four people: John Santoro, Steve M., Dustin W. and the guy in NY who doesn't want to talk. I would love for this to be real. It sounds like a great business. But, my family cannot afford a $3900 mistake right now. It would be a tremendous help if I could actually meet a distributor myself. I would pay to travel and do that. The secrecy of the whole thing bothers me and I'm really disappointed because it sounds so good. If anyone knows more, please keep responding.

Hi, My name is Dewain and i'm in Tx. Unfortunately i just came across this site. And i've talked with John Santoro a few times and decided to go ahead with it. I paid the $3900. And since then he has called to get my shirt sizes and said that i would have to wear a uniform. The van has been ordered and he gave me a date when it would be in. He also called to set a training date when a guy would fly in and start the training. I was a little worried too and i guess i still am until i actually start work. It sounded like an awesome opportunity and i'm still hoping everything works out. I'd hate to have to try and get my down payment back. I will let you know how it works out.,

I to have looked into this and have talked and emailed with a guy by the name of Mike Walsh. I was inquiring about the opportunity in Phoenix. I have never seen one of their vans. He kept saying routes do in excess of 20,000 dollars in sales a week. But when a emailed him with a list of questions he told me he'd get back to me but to go ahead and send the application and he would set up a meeting with Mr. Santoro. I want to go on a ride along for a week, one to prove their is actually a route and two to prove these machines make what they say.

before judging this company , they did everything they said they would for me I'm in
Arkansas and have completed my first week of training. I will keep you informed as to how this progresses from here. So far it seems to be a great program and we have

I'm not a lady, i'm a man and I'm not looking for any reason to discredit the company as of yet, since they have done everything buy the book as of yet. But my training starts on the 30th of november and i'm giving every bit of the dought and hope that what they say will come true. I think it's an awesome opportunity and i'd love to be a spokesman for the company. No one is trying to discredit this company. I think we all would love to find out that they are legit. Outside of a couple of people saying they work for the company (again with no way of proving it) we are left with very little concrete information. How about you go outside and snap a picture of yourself in front of your truck and use that as your photo next to your name. Shouldn't be that difficult. I spoke with a Steve Morris in Mass. and of course he didn't have a camera.

Hi everyone,I spoke with Mr Santoro this morning,they are running ads in Los Angeles.
His only concern was that I give him $3900.This sounds like a SCAM.No legit co.will ask for money upfront without showing you anything.
I cannot believe that someone will give them $3900 just like that.
Is not like you are dealing with Pepsi,Coke or frito Lay.who is this co.
Just like the saying goes,if it sounds to good to be true,you guys know the answer.

Guys, like Dewain, i too made the deposit upfront. I regret making it, since no one is calling me back and they said last that i would receive the van in 8 weeks, when originally it was 2 weeks. I think i lost my money, but would hate to see other people loosing theirs. PLEASE DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY UNTIL YOU GET SOMETHING CONCRETE, and please do share if you get any solid information.

I just spoke with John Santoro and he says the company does not have a Shawn
that is a distributor and no one has ever waited 8 weeks to get a van and be
trained so Shawn S. is another story teller..i got my van in 3 1/2 weeks and
i am on my second week of training, this business is very real and i look forward
to a long sucessful partnership with Snack America

OK OK Snack America is a HOAX !!!!!!!! I too was lured into believing they are legit and REALLY wanted them to be because times are tough .... which is what they are preying on !! I contacted them as all of you did and spoke with AL he gave me the pitch along with the fantastic money making opportunity then said that Geoffrey will call ...... He did BUT unfortunate for him I did a lot of research before he called. I called every Major School district in Los Angeles and NONE of them had ever heard of them !!!!!!!!!!!! What a surprise right !! BU T WAIT IT GETS BETTER !! I then asked him (just to set him up ) well how many distributors do you have working now ?? He said HUNDREDS !!!! Really I said !!! Great !!! Give me some names in my area so I can go see the operation ..... Silence ............... Well we just started in California nobody actually has a van yet we are just selling territories. Hmmmmmmm I said well I have a lot of time and money on my hands so give me a city where you ARE up and running he rattled off 4 or 5 I said GREAT since Phoenix was real close to me I yelled to my assistant to book me a flight to Phoenix today !! I asked for the names of the schools he was in and the distributors name and OF COURSE he couldn't give me one .... SOOOOOOOO I then said WHERE THE HELL CAN I GO TO SEE THIS IN ACTION !!!! GEOFFREY !!! HE SAID BOCA RATON IS THE ONLY PLACE YOU MIGHT ... LET ME REPEAT MIGHT BE ABLE TO SEE IT !!!!!!!!!!!! At that point I told him he was full of shit and hung up . After which I called the DA's office and the FBI Electronic Fraud Department to let them know. SO don't give these a-holes ANY MONEY !!!!!!!!!,

I called Floridas Dept. of Consumer Services and filed a complaint against them.
They are not set up to sell Business Opportunitys in Florida. I called the Tax board thers also and they do not have an account set up to pay taxs on the Business Opportunitys. If you come across a company like this again you find out what city there in and call the Tax board or Dept of agric.(dept of consumer services) to find out if they are legit.

If you did give them money then get ahold of the 2 departments in florida and file a complaint, also call the IRS and let them know with the 2 that scott mentioned that should make life HELL for them!!

I think this ship has passed and lets let it lol. I wanted this like all of you but its a scam I think so time to move on to next thing. I appreciate all of you contributing to the info here, if you do find something bring it back here ok.

On 11-08-09 I spoke to Al located in AZ and everything sounded to good to be true. Therefore I did some research and found this blog that really helped me to understand I should be very cautious about pursuing Snack America's as a business venture. I was going to reply with a harsh email to Al but God completely changed my message. Below is my email to Al after finding out that others also have many questions about the company's legitimacy. Al, I think this is a scam (if I am wrong I apologize) but God knows the truth and what motivates your heart! Oh and by the way Jesus is not a scam instead He's the real deal and if you'd humble yourself and invite Him into your life then you would know the truth of His salvation. I am asking everyone that made an investment in this company to go to Bank of America this morning and file a complaint with their security dept. If money has been drained, there has to be signatures, account numbers, wire transfers, maybe even pictures. The most important thing though is if they are getting these complaints from across the nation like they are going to get today if we all do this. In addition to that, please file a complaint with the Broward County Sherrifs Dept:954-765-4321. ( Boca Raton Police will tell you to do this)Snack America in Boca Raton is a Virtual office. Then complaints can be filed with the FBI and I am even considering going to the IRS ( the most ruthless of all)but they have the power to freeze accounts as does the FBI. If we are an absolute pain in the ass to these people on a daily basis they are going to get sick of hearing from us an do something about it. Lets get something out of the way right now( We have all been foolish, reaching for an opportunity and didn't do the proper ground work before taking the leap. OK !! I said it, we don't need to be reminded, we need to be ruthless in our efforts and make sure that Bank Of America gets the message today. I too made an investment with this company, only to find this site later. I am suppose to start training Monday, Nov. 30th and so I will see what happens. I do however find it quite strange that the office number goes straight to voicemail asking you to call John Santoro. Also, I am finding that John and Mike Walsh's cellphones go straight to voicemail without an option to leave a voicemail because they are full. I was suppose to be training Monday with a guy by the name of Jeff...I'm thinking its the same Jeff everyone else is talking about. I tried leaving a voicemail for Bill Maxwell, a supposed distributor in NY, and have not received a call back. Things seem a little odd to me, so I must say...I lost my faith in them. I also think its off that Steve M. and Erik T. have not really elaborated on their experience with Snack America. Knowing that the company reputation is on the line...If I were a representative of the company I would do anything in my power to defend them, unless they are in on what appears to be a scam to me as well at this point. I will keep the group posted on whether they come through Monday or not...Till then, I'm thinking its a little scandalous.

This is a total scam. They took my money and I never received a call the day before as promised and never received the truck. Erik T. is part of the scam as well. I have contacted the authorities and also noticed this morning that their website is now suspended.

I think that I found these guys over the weekend. I answered an ad very similiar to the one for Snack America, quite vague about a business opportunity and I left a message. I was called back and given a pesentation by a guy whose voice I recognized. He told me about an opportunity with a company doing credit repair and just by the way that he spoke and was very vague with answers, I know it was the same guys. Also they are looking for the same amount of money $3,800 this time. I find that amount is one that most people can find a way to come up with, without killing themselves for it. I did not invest in Snack America thanks to this site but I know it was one of the guys that I spoke with when dealing with them. If anyone is still looking for these guys I would be more than happy to supply their contact info because I have been burned by scumbags like these in the pas

I know from experience that if you want something good to read, you have to start with Antigone. I myself just remember how legendary and instructive that story is. It has been reviewed by many philosophers and thinkers of different eras. Speaking of which, there are even some good essays on Antigone https://supremestudy.com/essay-examples/antigone/ , I highly recommend reading it. I've learned a lot here that I didn't know or hadn't noticed about this work. Good luck.
